Thanks for cheering! The YACS 2026 Fun Run runners have completed their laps, but we aren’t done yet!
The Fun Run is a special annual tradition at YACS where students walk or run to the best of their abilities in order to raise money for the school and earn the top spot on our plaque for our Fun Run winners! This opportunity is the most impactful fundraiser of the year, and we need everyone’s help to make this event a success. Not only does this help raise money for special projects around the campus, but it’s a great reason to get more fresh air, exercise, and sunshine! Perfect for the sunny spring days we enjoy here in the Yakima Valley!
This year’s Fun Run goal is $40,000, and it is going to take a lot of teamwork to reach that goal! All money earned this year will go towards some very worthy projects: campus improvements, classroom enrichment, and the new YACS Faith Fund.
Now that the Fun Run is over, we need your help in collecting the money that was pledged! All donations are due by May 22 to count for student prizes.
Students and Parents: It’s now time to turn in your donor paperwork, and that might include contacting some of your donors to let them know how many laps you completed. Plus, make sure to tell them thank you! We are so proud of all your hard work in completing laps, and thanks for helping to raise money for our school!
Donors: It’s time! The students did their part in running hard, but we need your help to finish collecting all of the pledges. You can choose to donate a lump sum or pay an amount of money per lap. If you pledged online for a lap sum, you should have received a notification on how many laps the student completed. If you still need to donate, you can complete your donation one of the following ways.
1. If a student contacted you, you can pay a lump sum or an amount per lap, in which case they can now let you know how many laps, or you can contact the office for that information.
2. If you receive a PledgeStar link, follow the link and fill out the information on the PledgeStar website so you can make secure credit card donations online. This works for pledge per laps or lump sum donations.
3. You can also donate securely using the giving link above. If you choose to donate this way, make sure to indicate that this is a Fun Run donation and include the student’s name so they get credit for raising those funds.
4. The easiest way to donate is to come see us! The office staff would be happy to help you donate towards any of our students, so feel free to drop by during school hours.
